Today was a COLD day in Florence. But a good day in Florence.

Enjoyed waking up to discuss life with Krobs while she was getting ready to go to bed and I was getting ready for the day! Haha

Well, Hospitality Accounting at 9 am this morning. I will let you imagine how that went on your own considering most people know I HATE accounting.

Then I had a great workout!!!! Gahh I miss working out Monday thru Friday! Still able to keep up with my benderball workout though thankfully!

Then I cleaned and went to my baking class! I will admit that in the beginning of class today I was like bahhhh I wish I would have taken a cooking class like Bess and Alexa are (my roommates) because I wasn’t too thrilled from last week. But then……… dun dun dun…… HAPPINESS-- Me and Victoria (lab partner) <SIDE NOTE: MISS YOU STACEY AS MY LAB PARTNER L> made this OUT OF THIS WORLD CHOCOLATE DISH. Couldn’t spell the name if I tried. OMG it was delicious. Pics to go up soon. EVERYONE must prep for that to def. be made when I get home. I swear I was on a sugar high like no other after class from chowing down on that baked goodness and the dough in general, I ate a ton of that. Everyone else helped make this weird fruity chocolate stuff. One with pears in the middle and the other with apricot jam in the middle. Didn’t care for that cause I don’t think fruit and chocolate are a good mix. Plus the one chocolate they made was BITTER to the max. BUT omg the cocoa over here smells so good and my good ol’ expensive pal Ghirardelli cocoa cannot compare! So it was a good day in baking since we made the chocolate almond dish!

Then it was off to the girls’ I met this weekend apartment to book trips and stuff. GUYS IM SOOOO EXCITED for the next couple weekends!! Let me explain this, boredom in class most people know I have my own notebook of stupid things I write down, like my schedule, what im going to bake, what I need to try and find recipes for, etc. I have a list written down of my next few weekends that has come in handy!

Here is the 411;

This weekend- JULIE ANDREWS (aka Ainsley and I) are going to Vienna and Salzburg. (crying tears of joy for this one)

Next weekend, Milan is a no-go now. So we are going to stay in Florence! Feb. 20 is one of my 4* national holidays that must be celebrated. National Margarita Day. Hey I am of age, so mother, I can talk about this on here J so we are going to celebrate that and maybe take some day trips around Italy.

*(Side note explanation: Besides national marg. Day, the other 3 national holidays I MUST celebrate are National Cheesecake Day (July 30), My birthday (everyone knows that J), and my half birthday……….it would be 5 if I could find out if there’s a national cookie dough day!!)

Then the last weekend in Feb., they convinced me to go to the Carnival in Venice. I cant lie to anyone about this. The festival consists of everyone wearing masks………. If you don’t know, my biggest fear, practically bigger than spiders is MASKS. I have to tell alexa if I don’t sleep all week after that weekend, that’s why. I am scared and will probably have to have a few glasses of wine before entering that carnival so I don’t pass out due to fear but heyy I wanted to go to Venice! So that’s off my list!

We are also talking about going to Barcelona as a last hoorah the last weekend in April and stay in Florence that next weekend for our last hoorah here L! Sad to think about the end but thankfully it’s still the beginning practically!!

Spring Break is still in the works, but hopefully it ends up Dublin 17-19 and then meet Nikki in London to go stay with Tricia!! I am so excited to see them both it’s not even funny! It should be a super fun-filled week!! Tricia seems to be having a lot of fun so hopefully she can introduce us to the best of good ol’ London!

Amsterdam is in the works as well! SO I am excited for that!

I am really starting to LOVE it here esp after how well Rome went this weekend!
