Well CIAO my friends! 1 more class away from my weekend.. 3 days till SICILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, what’s new. This one won’t be near as long as yesterdays!!

This morning I had accounting, made it through that and then came home and went to work out. Gotta get beach body ready by Friday! Gotta be ready to sip on some drinks and eat some canoli too : )!! Haha!

Then I went and did a ton of grocery shopping and to the market. I caved and got rid of my no dried fruit rule. It’s too good and I crave it too much as bad as it is for me! I start my new cooking diet plan next week! Gotta cut some of these dang carbs out of my life! My body isn’t going to know what to do when I put it on protein overload when I get home!! Haha

Then I went to baking for our GELATO workshop! Yes sir-ry my friends! We made gelato! I would have preferred some different flavors however. We made banana and nutmeg gelato, chocolate gelato, and eww to the saphron and apricot sorbet! The banana gelato was pretty good. I don’t like chocolate gelato, so I didn’t try that! And the sorbet was so gross!! Haha. We also made Italian lady fingers with just butter, sugar, and flour. None of us really knew why we ate so much of it. We were going to try and make ice cream cones, but when they didn’t work, we just ate the dough. It was so good for some reason! I eat way too much in that class. Lola made the good point of I come to this class saying I am just going to sample….. and I never do! HOW TRUE!!

I was going to go to Gustas with the girls, but I called Sam and told her I was way too full from baking. Tuesday nights I usually don’t have to cook.

However, I did come home and eat a little bit of real food and then tried to work on my flight home. Not going as well as planned, so looks like I might be staying here. Oh darn!

But in other news,

Tricia comes in less than a week!! Get to see her again already and for a whole week!

Katie Hatke brought up a great point of what am I going to count down to when I get home?

I can come up with a few, I sadly can’t count down to amazing weekends and events like I can here, but I can come up with some good ones! Deanne’s wedding, Mike’s wedding, my cousin’s wedding, 21^st birthday float trip, Texas to see the girls, New York, Paula Deen’s restaurant…….. just to name a few : ) !! oh and my half birthday of course.

Well, Florence is getting really touristy. It usually is crowded anyways but not this crowded. Isn’t so bad unless it’s the huge freeking groups who seem to be everywhere and walk around and stand in the way of everyone. April is apparently Italy’s biggest tourist time. I was standing in the market today and I was like-- OMG I don’t like this. It is honestly no wonder why Italians get frustrated with Americans, either they think they know what they’re doing or they don’t even try to speak Italian and respect the culture. I mean DUH I am practically a tourist too but I try and speak Italian and ask questions and not think I know exactly what I am doing over here, cause I don’t!

Anyways……… hope you all are having a great Tuesday! I am ready for my weekend in Sicily obviously! I told Sam I was checking the weather tonight so wish me luck cause I am scared! It better not be supposed to rain!
