almost the weekend..

hey guys! tried to get this all written before everyone got up for school and work so you can procrastinate to this!

so yesterday i went on a tour around schools and met some new friends.. omg my school is going to be so cool! i am soooooo excited to finally see kitchen aids, get my lab coat, and bake bake bake. yaaay. so the tour was kind of useless so we all kinda just chatted and looked at the sites. florence is alot smaller than you'd think but trust me you can get lost for HOURS!

I AM USING A MAP TO GET AROUND AND I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF! LIKE SO PROUD!

so last night we all decided since we had to get up early for the most useless thing ever to just show our passport we found out.. but we just decided to stay in and make use of our balcony we have at the top of our apartment that overlooks all of florence. OMG SO PRETTY so worth dragging all my crap to the 4th floor let me tell ya. more day pics to come soon! but we all just chilled and i bought my first bottle of wine.. cheap white zin in honor of my mother. HAHA and the def. got a good night sleep after that. lol

woke up and did the whole passport thing then went shopping with alexa and sam around the markets. OMG i am not leaving this place without a LEGIT italian track jacket and scarf. I WILL NOT leave without them. we went into this SWEET market place with fresh meat, seafood, pasta, etc. Mrs. Grand's food prep and safety and sanitation def. came in handy to tell me some of the fish was just not legit. (Stacey- spoken like a true HRA student?) OMG though i am such a culinary freak i could spend a whole day just studying the food places around here it's ridiculous! and  then we got this great calzone thing with spinach and cheese. SO GOOD. but they had all this wine. PEOPLE who like wine get over here and visit me and buy some. then we went into this store of all nike and adidas stuff for example. there was like a whole wall of nike airs and i totally thought of you krob! there just a tad bit.. okay ALOT more expensive over here. and then we found a pair that were like 400 euros..... you want those?

so then we just shopped some more. okay seriously how hard was it to find alexa uggs? SO HARD. seriously cannot find those here. finally we found some fake ones after looking for a few hours. So then now we are just sitting here in this cafe chilling and im updating this thing and added pics to facebook! CHECK UM OUT! i know right-- there's not many of me in them! shocked?

on a side note! I CANNOT STOP THINKING ABOUT SICILY and when I am going to go. I am so excited and have found a few people who want to go. and i better stop calling cannoli- cannelloni.. i don't think sicily would approve.

what i miss from the states in this post has to be SVU, One Life to Live, Food Network, Strawberry water, and gum.

we should be getting internet soon so hopefully i can skype people!
